A distant Reiki session is a type of energy healing treatment that is performed remotely, without the practitioner and client being in the same physical location. During a distant Reiki session, the practitioner and client may be separated by any distance, and may connect through phone, video call, or other remote communication methods. In a distant Reiki session, the practitioner serves as a conduit for the healing energy and uses intention to send the energy to the client. The client may be lying down or sitting comfortably in a quiet, private space during the session. The practitioner will typically follow the same hand positions and techniques as they would in an in-person Reiki session, working with the energy of the chakras and the client's aura to promote relaxation, balance, and healing.
